Lights Out!

I had two presentations at the Decatur JUMP event today. Both were about blogging, wikis, and social bookmarking,
primarily. The participants were very enthusiastic, with the first group voluntarily staying 30 minutes into lunch! The second session ended early, however, as mother nature had other plans, and a big thunderstorm left us in the dark. Technology isn’t as amazing without electricity!
Thanks, again, to Decatur ISD for the invite–it was a great experience, and I hope to work with you in the future!

I’m so glad I was in your morning session!! Thanks for walking us through the process of creating our own blog. You did it with tremendous patience and humor!! My intentions would have been good, but I don’t know if I’d ever have gotten it done on my own. I’ve already added a page!! (Baby steps!!) It would be great to have you back for some more advanced training. Thanks for everything and have a great school year!!

Thank you for the kind words, Devon! Be sure to include your blog’s URL when you leave a comment, so I can check out what you have to say. I’m excited to see how the teachers in your school/district utilize all that we talked about.
